Mind Health Clinics

We believe mental care should be fast, affordable, and accessible

Undiagnosed and untreated mental health conditions can cause suffering and hold you back from reaching your potential. That’s why Mind Health was created – to provide speedy primary mental health care.

There are no labels or stigma at Mind Health Clinics

Over 5 million Canadians (18%) aged 15 and older met the diagnostic criteria for a mood, anxiety, or substance use disorder in the previous 12 months. The prevalence of mood and anxiety disorders in Canada increased from 2012 to 2022 (according to Statistics Canada, 2022).

Ontario, Canada, is facing a significant shortage of mental health services, which has led to long wait times, underfunding, and uneven access across the province. Many people seeking help experience delays, sometimes waiting months for care, particularly in rural and remote areas where the shortage of professionals like psychiatrists and psychologists is more acute. This shortage has been exacerbated by rising demand, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic. While efforts are being made to address the issue through increased funding and telehealth services, the gap between the need for mental health support and the availability of services remains substantial.

1 in 3 Canadians (about 9.1 million people) will be affected by a mental illness during their lifetime
Mental illness is a leading cause of disability in Canada, preventing nearly 500,000 employed Canadians from attending work each week.
People with mood disorders are at much higher risk of developing a long-term medical condition.
People with mental illness are two times more likely to have a substance use problem versus the general population.
Cost, stigma, and lack of awareness also act as barriers for many individuals seeking mental health support.
Many individuals seeking mental health support in Ontario face long wait times, sometimes stretching from weeks to several months.
